Meet Our Therapists
BA, LMT, E-RYT, BCTMB
Growing up a dancer, Angela has been intrigued with the human body and the way it moves her entire life. After graduating from Colorado College with honors and a dance degree in 2003, she went on to dance professionally with Ormao dance company out of Colorado Springs and then 3rd Avenue dance company out of Durango.
Like so many, after a personal crisis she found yoga and became certified to teach in 2008. She has been guiding students ever since in the practice of moving and breathing mindfully.
Continuing her fascination with the body, Angela pursued massage therapy. She graduated in 2010 with honors and over 1000 hours of training in many modalites from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy. After graduation, she started her own business and became a teacher’s assistant at BCMT. Shortly thereafter, she was promoted to a core faculty position and leading curriculum development for the Shiatsu and Movement departments.
Currently, Angela is the Director of SunWater Spa. You will occasionally find her on the therapy and yoga schedule as time allows. She enjoys hiking, gardening, a good book and spending time with her incredible husband and loving family.
I was born in New Jersey on a beach and have always loved the ocean. Then growing up in Colorado I fell in love with the mountains. As a young man I played Lacrosse at Colorado College, was a high altitude yogi gardener in Crestone and Illinois, hand milked cows in West Virginia, and swam in big rivers in Tennessee after kirtana sessions.
Met my wife at Govinda’s temple in Denver, got married in North Carolina at an ahimsa dairy yoga farm, visited my first kombucha bar in Hawaii, and cut my pony tail off in Costa Rica.
I’ve lived in Colorado Springs over ten years all together, and while here have helped open breweries, deliver medical equipment to out patients, and done a lot more gardening!
I got my Neuromuscular certification and Massage therapy training at Colorado Institute for Massage Therapy.
As a massage therapist I hold true to the principle of self care and I often receive bodywork such as Rolfing, Marma therapy, Ayurvedic treatments, yoga, MELT, light work, and kirtana.
Living up by Cheyenne Canyon, I love to hit the trails and explore the seasons; watch the sun set against the clouds, smell the trees and flowers, and sit in cold streams focusing on my breath and nature!
Born and raised in Colorado, Alexis is a loving wife and mother to two puggles and loves to hike, sing and read. She has been a skincare specialist since 2003 and continues to strive in the industry. I have always had an interest in the wonder that is the human body. I am fascinated by all of the creative ways our bodies work to support us. When I had the opportunity to learn the art that is massage therapy, it was clear I had found a perfect fit. Additionally, I am a 200RYT yoga instructor, and earned a certificate as a CrossFit coach in 2013, both of which have only enhanced my understanding of the workings of our physical bodies. My personal journey through health, wellness, and fitness has reinforced that I love working with clients to achieve their optimum level of health through therapeutic touch, and I have been providing excellent bodywork since 2002.
My clients benefit from my considerable experience, my certifications in neuromuscular therapy and trigger point release, and my ability to customize their therapy with every visit. Those I work with generally report feeling profound peace and relief or complete resolution of their pain and discomfort. I am frequently humbled by exclamations of, “That was the best massage I have ever had”, ” Thank you for being so present”, and “I can tell you really love what you do”.
If this sounds like the experience you are seeking, I would be honored to work with you.

Dawn Boatwright has been blessed with the honor and privilege of being a massage therapist for over 37 years. This experience compliments her Watsu training. Each Watsu session begins by being embraced by the water and being held unconditionally in her arms. The experience is always unique. Some possibilities include: freeing the spine from gravity, moving beyond physical limitations, freeing the mind from the cares and tensions of daily life, reducing soreness and fatigue, awakening creativity, experiencing the serenity of a womb, and the most fun of all…… joyfully playing – you know…..like the otter.

A background in medical equipment maintenance and repair may seem incongruent with a career in massage therapy but the common ground is both emphasize prevention; stopping a problem before it starts so that you can be fully engaged in life, or life support – as the case may be! Catherine’s keenest interest is in prevention of problems that compromise a healthy, happy lifestyle and connecting people with resources that make a difference in their wellbeing.
Upon retirement from a 20 year military career, Catherine made the move to the healing arts after a massage experience permanently relieved her of a longtime painful condition and buoyed her feelings of wellbeing during an extremely stressful period in her life. That the right touch in the right places could be so healing was an incredible revelation. Catherine knew immediately what she wanted to do next; learn how to make that difference for other people.
If Catherine could design the perfect therapy it would include insuring that each person came to their massage well hydrated to get the MOST benefit out of each session. Hydration is absolutely fundamental to good health, high energy levels and performance – before, during and forever after your massage therapy.
A perfect day in Catherine’s world includes connection with family, community and nature and making a difference for the better in someone’s life.
